| Happy Thanksgiving!! I am thankful more than ever for my family. Not just my parents and my brother, although I feel like now that I don't see them so much I appreciate them so much more, but I am also thankful for my Berkeley family, those that take care of me and love me for my flaws. I LOVE YOU GUYS!

| heyyy it's been 1494 days since i've joined xanga...that's a lot of days.
I've decided that it's better for my blood pressure if i just let things go and stop obsessing. I'm not being selfish, I'm being reasonable, because I think it's the best thing for me right now to look out for myself. It's a cold, cold world out there, and I'm my own jacket. I appreciate those who are continuing to support me, and I'm going to be there for you to reciprocate, but I feel like I need to start over, and learn to take care of myself before I help anyone else and possibly fail, make everything worse.

| i've decided there's nothing wrong with a 9 to 5 yuppie job, come home at night to the kids and the hubby, do some hw with the kids, tuck them in bed, watch some tv, and take everyone out to the park and library on saturdays and drop the kids off at a playdate and spend some time taking a load off on sundays. once in awhile when i've saved up my vacation days, i'll take the family out to Hawaii or something and relax on the beach while the kids figure out swimming with their pops. and that ain't bad.

| Hi friends! as high school seniors are finally getting their college acceptance letters, I remembered how i was juuuust like them only a year ago. in high school you think, i'm going to be so excited when i get into college! and it's sort of anticlimatic. That acceptance/rejection letter doesn't really hit home... I don't think that i actually realized that i was in college until maybe the middle of the first semester. a word of advice? (that most ppl won't care to take/read) undergrad really isn't that big of a deal. these are four years when you'll have a tremendous amount of free time and independence, and i think it's more of a time to appreciate what got you wherever you go before wherever you go next starts becoming an issue. WESTLAKE/THOUSAND OAKS is a bubble in a bubble in a bubble. get out of it as much as you can WHILE YOU HAVE THE CHAAANCE!! RUN FRIENDS, RUN!
